Beautiful and rare small Regency period music cabinet or pier cabinet in Mahogany, cross banded with Tulip wood, with Ebony and Boxwood Stringing. Â The front door with beautiful flame mahogany veneer central panel with inverse radial corners, Ebony strung, Mahogany cross banding, Ebony and Boxwood stringing with outer edge cross banded in Tulip wood. In beautiful used condition with only very minor restorations.
The size is delightfully small standing just 62 cm high, on swept feet, with a width of 43 cm and a depth of just 31 cm.
The interior with the original three adjustable shelves. Â Still with the original key and old label reading “Music Cabinet” written in Indian ink.
Very hard to find such a rare item of Regency furniture in good condition.
Very useful piece of furniture and with such small proportions is suitable for many positions within any house decor.
