A pair of lovely naive hand painted stained glass windows salvaged from a 19th Century Quaker Chapel. One in good condition, minor losses to second.
Lovely Arts & Crafts Box stool from the Cotswold valleys of Stroud.; an area which spawned some fine makers in the Arts & Crafts tradition. This simple little box stool/work box is made from brown oak which has acquired a lovely deep nut brown colour. The stool has a two piece top with one piece having leather hinges allowing lifting to give access to the interior. There is also a single drawer beneath. The size is 36 cm x 28 cm and stands 45 cm high.
Lovely Arts & Crafts period table with embossed copper top on an oak base which bears a name plate for Bick, Wright & Co., Bristol. The copper top has developed a nice natural patine. The table stands 74 cm high and the top is 56 cm across. Nice attractive example of commercial Arts & Crafts furniture.
Salvaged from a British Institution and the only two known in existence these wonderful 19th Century Tambour Cupboards/Cabinets are, quite simply - fabulous.
