This large and very wonderful genuine 1920s New Yo

This large and very wonderful genuine 1920s New York Apothecary/Drug store cabinet measures 6.5ft high x 5ft wide and 1ft deep.

The bank of drawers contains 40 zinc lined drawers and copper back making it a truly extraordinary piece and worthy of any home or commercial setting.

Imported from New York at vast expense a few decades ago and still in wonderful antique condition this bank of drawers retains all original handles and label plates to all drawers.

It would perhaps benefit from a wax and polish to taste having been in full family use for the last few years but we will leave the final aesthetic to the lucky new owners.

We sold this very desirable piece in 2021 and have been lucky enough to recently reacquire the drawers due to the buyers imminent emigration.

Given that most of the ground floor has been overt

Given that most of the ground floor has been overtaken this year by Number 4s art projects it will be little surprise then to know that Christmas is not an exception 🫣😅

Crammed into one corner of the dining room sits a pile of ancient stone reclaimed from Glastonbury Abbey many hundreds of years ago and used to form the base of an outbuilding not far from the ruins.

Now rescued it is Caras intention to paint fresco fragments on the flat elevations of the stones and then perhaps gift them back to a local museum.

Still, this is for the New Term and as they are rather large and somewhat heavyweight to shift around it was decided (not by me) to simply festoon with ivy and candles and 'that'll do'! 🙄😅.

So from our house to yours wishing you all a truly magical Christmas and a peace and love filled 2026 - Where ever you call home 🌲✨💖
