We are offering for sale this rather lovely, large, leather barrel back armchair with wonderful lines and tremendous elegance. Still wearing its aged and worn leather upholstery this beautiful chair is ripe for renovation. The leather on the arms has worn through and there are a couple of small rents to the rear – I guess this could be improved if you desire the original, or the chair recovered to taste. The chair sits on very slim, elegant mahogany tapering legs which have been refinished but are in need of castors to rear and the originals fitting to front legs (previous owners had removed them to taste) and the missing the original swab cushion needs replacing but once these minor issues are rectified this is a dream of a chair to grace any home or any setting. Price is reflective of condition.
