Taken from ancient Greek carved stone frieze found on temples illustrating a time when Ox heads were attached to the temple walls and garlands hung from them as offerings to the gods to aid future harvests.
Reconstructed here in this wonderfully weathered composite stone and mounted on a steel stand makes a very interesting display.
Measuring approximately 21 inches (53 cm) wide and 19 inches (48 cm) high with a thickness of around 4 inches (10 cm) naturally makes it rather heavy.
The purpose made iron stand in included.
