An Extraordinary and Important 19th Century Carved Renaissance Bed

A highly carved and sublime quality mid 19th Century Renaissance Bed. Dated 1851 and likely to be an exhibition item the origins of this bed are yet unknown. The bed does require some ‘fettling’ and both the headboard and the footboard are in need of back upholstery to taste but in reality very little required to make this wonderful antique truly exceptional.
