A really rather wonderful large original sculpture by
French artist Jean Target 1910-1997.
It would appear that this sculpter was the artist in residence for the Opera Garnier Paris from the 1930s to 1960s.
It is unclear if this enchanting work is a maquette for a bronze sculpture or a work in its own right. Signed to base.
