Two rather wonderful vintage, silver leaf on rice paper, hand painted, quality heavy oak framed, large Chinoserie dressing screens.
These beautiful works of art were acquired in the early 1980s and shipped back from Hong Kong by a business executive.
Each screen measures 180 cms wide x 183 cms high.
In overall good condition there are small signs of wear and tear commensurate with age/use and a small rent to the rear bottom of one screen (which should be a relatively simple to restore) and does not detract from the loveliness of these pieces.
Mounted on a wall these beautiful screens would make a near 4 metre unique hand painted work of art.
Being sold as a pair.
